Verdict

BRUKIRK LASS is suggested for the opener, while Kahsabelle and Gilwen Glory are others to seriously consider. The last-named has trip and ground to suit and comes from a yard in good form. She has had just a couple of hurdles outings so far and went well enough when last seen at Worcester, over a similar trip, to suggest that she can be a force here. Kahsabelle was previously rated 123, but after failing to complete on her last two starts we are not sure of her true abilities at present, although suffice it to say that coming from another in-form stable she should be fit enough to give a good account after a break, provided those jumping issues have been rectified. Over The Flow looks to have a fair bit to find but does at least act with cut and around this track, while Bathwick Quest will relish conditions, although has to prove her stamina. A Haon A Do could be capable of going close if she proves herself effective over this far on this ground, but preference is for Brukirk Lass. Alan King has his runners in great shape and this filly makes her hurdling debut today. She is sure to have been well prepared, acts with plenty of cut and looks the type who can win a race or two over timber, hopefully starting today.
