In depth

Verdict

Golden Chieftain is undoubtedly the one to beat here on his defeat of Point West at Chepstow in November but he has disappointed in two starts since, albeit in better company, and may be vulnerable here under his penalty. Preference is for winning pointer RAVASTREE, who never threatened when fourth on his hurdling debut at Newbury but will have almost certainly have learned plenty that day and has any amount of scope. Water Garden can improve on his debut fifth to Mister Hyde at Plumpton but Kind Of Easy was well beaten at Plumpton in December and may need further experience.
