Verdict

CHAVEZ looked as though the race would do him good at Chepstow but he still had enough in hand to make a successful debut and he can defy a penalty. Del La Mar Rocket started favourite at Carlisle but couldn't quite contain Barnabas Collins. He'll have come on a bundle for the experience while Tzunami showed massive improvement from his debut to finish close-up here next time. Mot A Mot is a half-brother to six winners, including a Listed winner on the Flat, and is definitely one to note on his racecourse debut.
