In depth

Verdict

Module beat a decent field in a Class 2 handicap over hurdles at Cheltenham in January but he might just need this. Rebel Rebellion should be straight enough, however, and Pantxoa was placed in four of his six starts over the smaller obstacles last season, though Alan King's charge probably needs further nowadays. Bold Henry won here over timber in May and Quinte Du Chatelet will have been well schooled but we'll take JOHNS SPIRIT to carry on where he left off in the spring when winning by 10 lengths at Market Rasen. Really tough and consistent on softish going over hurdles, he should be suited by the switch to fences.
