Samuel Jackson was pulled up when sent off joint favourite for this last year but he’s 4lb lower in the weights now. Coup De Pinceau stays well but lacks a recent run while D'Jango is penalised for winning at Lingfield. Raddon Top disappointed at Chepstow at the start of the month but did have Favori De Sivola behind over 3m here earlier, though it would be no surprise if the latter turned that form on its head over this much longer distance. The Macon Lugnatic has never won over fences and neither has GAZETTE BOURGEOISE but she’s been getting outpaced over shorter distances and is starting to look very well handicapped.
