Arvico Bleu won a Clonmel maiden over 2m1f then appeared to find 3m testing his stamina at Cork so this trip should be ideal. DIDERO VALLIS was placed in four bumpers in France before joining Willie Mullins and gaining a comfortable victory over hurdles at Downpatrick. He looks the type to show major improvement and can see off his stable companion Hey Little Boy, a Tramore winner but disappointing at Galway next time. Icario has easily the best form of these and should have won by now but he continues to frustrate and was having his 11th start over hurdles when fourth in a Punchestown handicap a couple of weeks ago. Geneva Barracks easily won a Down Royal maiden and was in touch when stumbling and unseating his rider in the closing stages at Punchestown so he's no forlorn hope nor is Midnight Stroll, who looked very progressive when landing a Galway maiden in October.
