Ellipsism scored twice over the trip in 2019 but has been chasing in recent weeks without showing much. Trickey Trix shot up the weights after landing a couple of minor races in the summer while Ballyshannon Rose is up 13lb after completing a double on heavy ground at Limerick. The latter should have few problems staying the extra but the concession of 10lb to RAGIN CAJUN (NAP) may prove beyond her. Matthew Smith's charge also went up 13lb for an impressive victory over the trip at Down Royal but bumped into a well-handicapped winner over slightly shorter here three weeks ago. Happie Days has twice been narrowly beaten at around this trip in recent weeks, though keeps going up without winning, while Clonguile Way has looked a bit high in the weights after completing a double in the autumn.
