MAGIC OF LIGHT ended the last campaign beating a big field over hurdles at Punchestown and though a short-price on her chasing bow at Thurles when beaten narrowly by La Bella Vida last month it was still a very good performance and the remainder were well behind. Cappacurry Zak, three times a winner over hurdles, has finished runner-up in half of his eight starts over fences and will need to do better against the selection but Little Haarth has taken on smart opposition in his four starts over the bigger obstacles. Tyrrell's Succes was in the process of making a very promising debut over fences when falling at the last at Thurles last month so enters the reckoning.
