In depth

Verdict

DR MACHINI will be a very warm order after a fine opening run behind A Country Girl at Wexford in October as the winner scored over timber last week. Willie Mullins' mare looks the answer to this though Crystal Earth will have her supporters despite her defeat when strongly fancied at Tramore. The champion trainer also runs the newcomer Dani Catalonia, who is out of a useful Flat and hurdles winner and she should be noted for the future. Andy Oliver's King's Theatre newcomer is out of a mare who scored on the Flat and over timber and is another to keep an eye on.
