In depth

Verdict

Rose Garden was second on her debut over 5f at Tipperary and should improve the experience but Tiger Stripes wasn't beaten far in what looked a decent maiden at the Curragh and could also figure. Ger Lyons has three newcomers in the line-up but it appears ABBEY VALE, a £15,000 yearling who is closely related to several winners, is the stable pick with Johnny Murtagh in the saddle and he gets the nod to make a winning start to his career.
