Verdict

AASLEAGH FAWN has been steadily improving and gained reward with a battling victory at Bellewstown earlier this month. She's up 6lb but progressing fast enough to defy the extra. Maunganui came good at the 15th times of asking at Sligo where he stayed on strongly though he's never raced over a trip this far. Universal Focus probably needs a bit further as he was going on strongly at the finish over 1m5f at Leopardstown while all-weather winner Noble Intention is 0-20 on Turf. Percy B Shelley won a Gowran claimer before making an eye-catching debut for new connections at Leopardstown and could provide the main threat.
