Easy Vic was only beaten a nose at Navan on his latest start and can figure but those at the top of the handicap are of more interest dropping down in class. Shellys Creek and Sea Master have been competing in the same races and the former came out on top when third over these fences before she was brought down on her latest start. She could go close but TALAB gets the vote. He was third to Hunters Lodge, who has subsequently won again, at Cheltenham in October and looks up to landing this with a similar effort. Ard Agus Fada left his previous form behind to score at Navan recently but needs more here, as does November's Southwell winner Oscar Leney.
