Patrickswell showed very good pace to beat Trotting Weasel over the minimum trip at Navan so it was a surprise to see him over a mile at Naas the following week. This could well prove to be his optimum distance and he's not too badly treated. Vigano is taking time to find his form since arriving from England but did better at Gowran last time and his slipped to a very reasonable mark. Lady Look made a pleasing comeback behind Full Title here earlier this month and is only 2lbs higher than when scoring over 6f here a year ago but Sean Og Coulston has been hit with a 14lbs rise for his victory at Down Royal last month. IRON MAJOR has progressed with each run this year culminating in a well supported victory over Bank On Black at Cork on Sunday. Edward Lynam brings him out quickly with a 5lbs penalty which is almost cancelled out by the excellent Shane Foley's 3lbs claim.
