In depth

Verdict

Rachael Blackmore is the regular partner of Smadynium, who she steered to victory at Clonmel in December though a 10lb rise makes this more difficult. Killer Crow is 1-23 over fences and hasn't fulfilled his potential but stable companion Cecil Corbett has been racing in better company since scoring at Punchestown in October. THOMOND doesn't win often but this is his chance to double his winning tally over fences on his 20th start. He was having his first start since January when a close sixth in the Grade 3 Topham at Aintree and a repeat would be good enough for this. Presenting Julio has won under Lisa O'Neill in the past and looks a big threat after his recent victory at Tramore.
