The 150/1 chance Freewheelin Dylan won this last year from RUN WILD FRED and Enjoy D'allen, who both come back for another crack. The former fell at the eighth at Aintree last week so should be ready for this and gets the vote to go one better. He had stablemate Farclas behind in the Troytown at Navan in November but the latter is well up to running a big race here. Gaillard Du Mesnil has only had four starts over fences and has been racing at the highest level so could be thrown in for his handicap debut. Max Flamingo has been touted for the race since beating the smart Bacardys at Thurles while Full Time Score could be well handicapped and 2020 Galway Plate winner Early Doors is due a return to the big-time. Time To Get Up ran well in the Midland's National, the race he won in 2020, so stamina won't be an issue. Off You Go ran well in this a year ago so don't be surprised by another big effort.
