Captainofthefleet looked ready for a step-up in trip after being outpaced by Fire Belt over this course and distance when TURICA was around 3l behind. King Blue and Crabtrees Glory were well beaten and it's the progressive Turica, who could be ridden with more restraint this time, who can come out best and take this. Ballyroe Rambler looks to be improving as he followed a very good second at Wexford with a decent effort in a better race at Naas. Rory's Brother has been chasing without showing much but his close third at Tipperary in May puts him in with a shout.
