Verdict

DOGORA, placed at Grade 1 level over hurdles, looked like making a successful debut over fences at Gowran before falling. He was narrowly beaten by Bright New Dawn at Punchestown on his next start and though failing to reach a place subsequently he's been competing at a much higher level and can finally get off the mark. Kilcarry Bridge has fallen in two of his last three - the latest at the second last when still in the lead - but a clear round should see him in the frame. Smokey Joe Joe has some strong form to his credit but is inconsistent and has now had ten starts over fences without winning. The remaining trio will all need massive improvement to get involved.
