In depth

Verdict

SILVER TASSIE has been a costly failure on his two starts to date though there were genuine excuses for his defeat at Down Royal last time as the pace of the race was pedestrian to say the least. He's more of a staying type so today's longer trip and testing ground should play to his strengths. He's handed the vote though Defy Logic looks a big threat. Paul Nolan's charge made a very satisfactory racecourse debut behind Sizing Gold at Navan in February though it's a bit surprising to see him equipped with blinkers here. Lots Of Memories also made a fine start to his career when only just failing to hold King Of Firth at Galway. That was a fine effort and with further progress virtually guaranteed he has to be in the shake-up. Our Mamie caught the eye with a promising debut at Down Royal and is another to keep an eye on in an interesting bumper.
