In depth

Verdict

SHANNAK has won three races in his career, all on this track on ground with plenty of give. He's up 6lb for his victory over three miles on New Year's Day but can continue his excellent record on the course. Carrig Cathal completed a hat-trick in the summer including on heavy going and has been very unfortunate in his last two runs so he looks a threat as does Sure Reef. Willie Mullins' charge landed a Grade 2 at Leopardstown just over two years ago but has only had two subsequent starts including over a trip too short behind Jezki at Navan last month. That's A Wrap completed a hat-trick of handicap victories before stepping up into Grade B handicap company at Leopardstown and wasn't beaten far so back in the company is expected to make his presence felt. Presenting Percy has performed with credit in tough handicaps since completing a double in the autumn.
