Verdict

Goodnight Charlie placed several times in the first half of last year but isn’t getting any younger and lacks a recent run. Summit Like Herbie won over 3m2f at Doncaster in November and is only 4lb higher but PRIMAL FOCUS also stays well and he will be getting 13lb, including his rider’s claim, from the top weight despite a recent victory at Wincanton. The latter looks a better bet than stablemate Powerful Position.
