Verdict

A decent contest for the track and time of year and though Caravel may lack the scope of a few of these, Tim Vaughan's gelding can't be ignored. Ugo hasn't shown much over fences so far and was a long way behind Cry Of Freedom over hurdles at Taunton last month. The latter will improve for his second at Wetherby but a case can certainly be made for KIAN'S DELIGHT at the weights if he takes to the larger obstacles. We'll take him to do just that and come out on top here as Sporting Boy and Uncle Pelder may do better in handicaps.
