Verdict

LUDDSDENENE won three times over hurdles in Ireland before having his final start for Gordon Elliott at Stratford on Monday. He was probably unlucky in that event and should make a successful debut for new connections. Jonnie Skull is much better known for his exploits on the Flat, where he's won 17 of his 162 starts. But he's also scored over timber and should give a good account though he may have to settle for a place as Flying Phoenix looks the main threat. He'd been performing well before gaining an easy victory at Ludlow and, though that was over a year ago, he should be forward enough to do himself justice.
