Verdict

Heavy going may have been to blame for WISH IN A WELL’s poor showing when favourite last time at Sedgefield. A winner here already this season, he was only beaten a neck off this mark at Fontwell two runs ago and can get back on track as Tara Mac’s win at Lingfield last month came over a shorter trip on bottomless ground off a 7lb lower mark. Pembroke House is usually thereabouts but has only won once from 14 starts over fences and that was also on heavy going. The others are even harder to fancy.
