In depth

Verdict

Scotland Yard is taken to land the opener at the expense of Ace Baby and Just Observing. The selection unseated on his debut at Warwick. He slipped on landing at the third that day so it was too early to tell how he would have ran but he was rated eighty-five on the flat winning two races so he has ability as a racehorse and if tranforming that to the jumping game he has a bright future. Ace Baby ran well on his debut when finishing an eye catching second at Chepstow. Since then though he has been highly tried and failed to live up to expectations at Cheltenham last time out. He will be more at home in this field so is worth noting. As is Just Observing who was no mug on the flat and although disappointing on his hurdles debut he is worth another chance. But for the winner we return to Scotland Yard.
