Verdict

There wouldn't be much to choose between GET IT ON and Bottman at the weights over hurdles but Evan Williams' charge has already shown an aptitude for chasing with a smooth success at Sedgefield. He can defy his penalty, though Tim Vaughan's six-year-old is certainly worth noting for future reference and winning pointer Whispering Jack got his act together over hurdles in the spring. Helpston has finished in the frame in all three starts over fences but he was very disappointing when odds-on at Uttoxeter in May and may lack a little scope.
