In depth

Verdict

Newcomer Duc De Beauchene, by the same sire as Apple’s Jade and Bristol De Mai, is definitely worth a market check here. Newquay Cards was very green on his debut at Newbury so should be capable of better. Samson's Reach won at Bangor but was a 100/1 chance that day so the form should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. ABSOLUTE POWER and Hereford second Well Smitten look the likely protagonists with the vote going to Rebecca Curtis’ six-year-old given he was probably a bit keen when third last time at Newbury, well ahead of Newquay Cards and Samson's Reach.
