    Verdict

WEST WITH THE WIND totes a hefty burden but this useful dual purpose campaigner stands out on the form of a recent battling success over two miles, for which he incurs a 6lb penalty, on his first run on the level since 2009. He made all to score and will probably set out to repeat those tactics over this two furlong shorter trip in what appears a weaker race. Captain Sharpe is unproven at this trip and remains winless and therefore Corr Point, about whom there are no stamina concerns, looks the greater danger. A dual scorer last summer, he has not been as effective this season but is back down to a more workable mark and Kieren Fallon is a good booking for the Osborne charge.
