In depth

Verdict

REBEL MELODY goes well fresh and likes soft ground. Charlie Mann's 10-year-old is now 4lb lower than when successful over 3m4f at Wincanton a year ago and can regain the winning thread here. Inishrush looks too high in the weights now, while Quazy De Joie also incurred the wrath of the handicapper after securing a double at Southwell and Fontwell earlier in the year. The evergreen Victory Gunner needs further and course specialist Cold Harbour has rather lost his way lately while the novice Spring Moon need to improve on what he's shown so far to figure.
