      Verdict

      Convention didn't fare too badly on her handicap debut when third at Wolverhampton and should be thereabouts again, but a chance is taken on DURANTE ALIGHIERI. He was well beaten on his reappearance over 1m2f at Windsor, but last year's second to the useful Club Oceanic is solid form and the son of Galileo should appreciate this longer trip. Rosairlie improved when fifth over a shorter trip here in July and she's preferred to Chik's Dream and Yourinthewill, who were both placed at this track on their latest starts.
