Mushy Peas did not beat a great deal when landing a handicap by the narrowest of margins at Bath at the beginning of the month so is likely to struggle off a 3lb higher mark here. The Jailer has been running consistently well but looks booked for a place at best and of more interest may be Towy Boy, who is on a hat-trick after wins at Lingfield and Wolverhampton on his last two outings. It remains to be seen whether he can reproduce a similar level of form back on turf though and another runner on a hat-trick, Kinigi, makes more appeal. The Ron Harris-trained filly is though 13lb higher than when successful at Bath last time and preference is for stable companion BEST ONE, who has not been beaten far in recent starts and looks well handicapped.
