In depth

Verdict

Davidoc made all for a very easy victory at Toomebridge in May after which he went for £60,000 at the Doncaster Spring Sales. Three Cliffs Bay is the only one of Evan Williams' trio with racecourse experience though he hasn't shown much. Steel Ally made a very promising bumper debut at Chepstow but didn't make the expected progress. FLYING FORTUNE won two bumpers in the spring and showed her liking for heavy ground when chasing home the odds-on Farnoge at Newton Abbot last month so looks the one to beat. Kioto Sun made a promising debut in a bumper here last October and with his stable amongst the winners has to be of interest.
