Verdict

We Are The World had little chance in the Chesham at Ascot last time and ran accordingly but any improvement on his earlier debut third at Redcar should see him thereabouts at the finish in this company. Both Liva and Jaffar failed to show any progress on their latest starts but Show Of Force finished a lot closer at Newbury last time and this is easier. But this won’t take much winning and the newcomer AMERICAN RUBY (NAP), a half-sister to numerous winners including St Leger hero Arctic Cosmos, may well be good enough to make a winning start for Mark Johnston’s yard.
