In depth

Verdict

Last month’s fourth at Cheltenham, Templeross won at Newton Abbot before that but is penalised back in this lower grade. That should hand the advantage to HAWKHURST, third in a handicap at Fontwell on his recent reappearance and expected to be sharper for this. Walt was also placed at Fakenham but that was back in May while Bacchanel started favourite at Warwick for his hurdling debut but never figured despite making the frame.
