LOADED performed better than his finishing position suggests when eighth of 12 on handicap debut at Newbury this month, staying on nicely beaten only three lengths. Previous performances were promising and this looks a good opportunity for the Balding gelding dropped in grade and back in ordinary maiden company. Irrevocable failed to back up a useful debut in a Windsor maiden when tailed off at Goodwood but is better than that and must enter calculations. The Invisible Dog may be handicapping pretty soon so Burguillos should provide the main threat. Alan King's colt looked nailed on for maiden success on the evidence of two runs in maiden company before producing a below par effort when a warm favourite at Bath when testing ground may have found him out. He'll prove dangerous on the forecast better surface.
