In depth

Verdict

Causing Chaos has gone up a further 4lb since running Trigger The Light to half-a-length over a longer trip at Warwick but is probably still improving and shouldn't be far away here. Harouet's jumping still leaves plenty to be desired, however, and he was always playing second fiddle to Roi De Rose here last month. The winner franked the form at Bangor on Saturday but his trainer, David Pipe, should know where he stands with chasing newcomer SPIRIT OF BARBADOS. A decent hurdler, he's bred to be just as good over fences and the handicapper has definitely given him a chance today off a mark of 117. Fort View, in first-time blinkers, is preferred to Oca De Thaix of the others.
