Verdict

AMIRICO has struggled since winning on his hurdling debut at Fontwell in November but has been taking on much stronger opposition than he'll encounter today. He was far from disgraced when seventh at Sandown last month and, off a 3lb lower mark, looks the one to beat. Dusky Bob is tried in blinkers after pulling up in that Sandown race but has little hope of turning the tables while a long absence may count against Little Al on soft ground. Get Ready To Go was second in a maiden hurdle over a slightly shorter trip here 15 days ago, however, and should be in the firing-line again while Graduation Night has run well enough since the turn of the year to suggest he'll find a small race somewhere before the summer.
