In depth

Verdict

A wide open handicap chase here with many in form rivals in opposition including Kouros des Obeaux, Fashions Monty and Walcot lad but we will take a chance on Ah Yeah. The gelding from the Kim Bailey yard is one of the least exposed in the field was a fair sixth behind Lotier in a hurdle last time out. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his chase debut is stepped up in trip and off what looks a fair mark is a sporting choice. Kouros des Obeaux rates the main danger on his latest second behind Mr Dow Jones but although he traveled well in the race he found less than expected off the bridle and for that reason is opposed. Fashions Monty won well last time out when defeating Red Rampage but he will find this harder under his penalty. Walcot Lad could also go well but he gave them impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Harik and he has yet to prove he stays this far. Of the remainder Good Bone ran well last time and is suited by the conditions so he to could go well but for the winner we return to the unexposed Ah Yeah.
