Verdict

Presenting Express lines up in good form and can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Stormy Skye, Majestic Moonbeam, Kohinor and Levallois. Quite a few of these have disappointed of late for one reason or another, but not so Presenting Express who has won each of his last two starts, here and at Taunton either side of Christmas. Successful here off his old mark of 80 in November, he then defied a six-pound rise to follow up at Taunton 18 days ago, scoring readily. This longer trip is expected to bring about even more improvement, and off a revised rating of 99, he still make most appeal. Stormy Skye had Tommy Carson well behind when scoring at Lingfield in October, and may well have still been feeling the effects of an earlier fall here when only fourth of seven at Fontwell 10 days ago. He should not be ruled out, while Majestic Moonbeam, pulled up at Plumpton last time, has place claims based on an earlier second over the course and distance. Kohinor will be all the better for his return here in December but is still likely to need more time, and Levallois has yet to win on these shores. With question marks over most of them, Presenting Express has leading claims.
