        Verdict

        A wide open classified event may fall to I Wish, Zazous and Pearl Farm look the pick of the others. The selection landed a seller at Brighton last month and hasn't been disgraced in better company since. Ground and trip are ideal and is suited by the conditions of today's race. On official ratings Pearl Farm has an excellent chance here and she put in a decent effort last time when third behind Perfect Solution at Salisbury. That was on softish ground but she has gone well on a faster surface as well and shouldn't be far away. Zazous was rated in the 70's last summer, and he has shown improved form recently. If back to his best he will be a tough nut to crack this afternoon. Soft Focus should be the pick of the three-year-olds, but on this occasion we will plump for the old-timer here and that is I Wish.
