        Verdict

        This looks a difficult handicap to solve. Clan Royal's latest close up fifth in a better Haydock handicap reads well in this grade so he is taken to land this for his in-form stable. Renaloo is a very capable performer on his day but his jumping can let him down. Given a clear round he will give the selection most to do. Recent winners The Leader and Repunzel will have their supporters but they look badly handicapped again. If the ground comes up testing then Zabadi may be worth an investment in. Although not in great form this season - he is on a decent mark and has a promising young conditional aboard.
