Verdict

Holbrook Park had little to beat in a Plumpton novice event nine days ago and has a penalty but his fitness is guaranteed. Spock won around here last year over a shorter trip and can be hard to peg back if allowed an easy lead. The Ogle Gogle Man finished third on his chasing bow at Huntingdon but needs to jump better and Master Burbidge is also prone to the odd error, though has won on the all-weather since falling at Market Rasen on Boxing Day. SANDY BEACH hasn’t threatened so far this season but has plummeted down the weights and won the last time he raced in this grade.
