In depth

Verdict

Black Lightning has gone backwards since making a promising debut at Plumpton and finished a distant third back at the latter track last time. Lord Condi finished closer in an all-weather bumper at Lingfield in February but this can go to a newcomer. Dadsinluck is related to winners over hurdles and preferred to Johnny Rocco and Bitofblinding but MANNING ESTATE is a half-brother to five winners including bumper winners and Oliver Sherwood’s charge gets a speculative vote.
