Verdict

This looks between the top two in the weights. BRASS MONKEY bids for a hat-trick after victories at Stratford and last week at Southwell. He beat the re-opposing The Young Master three lengths last time and is fancied to confirm superiority despite the worse terms. Phar Away Island was beaten only a length at Plumpton recently and looks the chief threat to the principals as the likes of Bredon Hill Lad and Head Spin are making their seasonal debuts.
