Verdict

Not the warmest of contests and with Paul Webber's string in good form it might be worth chancing SPACE STAR. The 10-year-old has had his problems, which partially explains a five-year losing run. However, he has plummeted in the weights to a mark of just 95 now, and with going, track and trip all to suit he could find enough form to win again. Randjo is feared despite a 6lb rise for a narrow and hard-fought success when last seen at Wincanton in May, while Littleton Aldor goes well here and is weighted to be very competitive. Majy D'Auteuil lost form in the spring but is not ruled out despite never yet having won after a break.
