      Verdict

      Hurdling debutante Dardanus, faces a difficult task and may prefer a bit of cut in the ground, while Donnini looked to have the race in safekeeping when coming to grief at Worcester. He will find this more competitive. This should rest between winning pointer Timpani and Ragdale Hall. The latter has been in good form through the summer and may just prove too sharp over this trip for the Pipe runner.
