Verdict

VENETIAN LAD is 6lb higher than when winning this last year but has ground conditions in his favour again and it would be no surprise to see Lydia Richards' course specialist score again. Bit Of A Clown only won a maiden hunter chase over track and trip in May and it remains to be seen how her fares against these experienced handicappers. Princely Hero likes it here but probably needs a bit further nowadays. The same can probably be said of Double Chocolate and Lord Lescribaa but Kind Of Easy had every chance when unseating his rider here in February and shouldn't be far away with a clear round.
