Verdict

Wyndcrest has been knocking on the door in lesser races but has been raised 3lb since his latest second here over a longer trip. Highbury High was beaten 10 lengths off this mark at Worcester and is still unconvincing in the jumping stakes while veteran Humbel Ben hasn't won in almost two years. NEAREST THE PIN has endured a similar barren spell but has been placed twice off higher marks this year and is at home in this grade – he can land an ordinary contest.
