Verdict

CRUISING BYE'S only success came on very heavy ground and, though looking a few pounds high at present, his consistency can be rewarded in this poor race. According To Them had three rivals to beat at Plumpton in February and did it with the minimum of fuss and is now 1lb lower but Withy MIlls, who won over 2m2f here last month, has yet to prove he stays this far. Caspian PIper has shown nothing since arriving from Ireland but has dropped massively in the weights and a first-time visor may bring about some improvement. Volio Vincente landed a moderate contest over the track and trip last month before blundering his way around Market Rasen and is an obvious threat on that earlier effort.
