      Verdict

      A modest handicapper on the Flat, OXFORD BLU made a winning start over timber with an easy success at Fakenham. He’s taken to go in again ahead of the filly Aiguille Rouge. The latter finished a distance in front of Cold Shoulder when winning over track and trip recently, though it was heavy ground on that occasion. Quothquan finished a bit closer when runner-up at Sandown last time and is preferred to hurdling debutante Spirit Of Rome.
