In depth

Verdict

Arthington ground out a victory at Lingfield earlier this month but MAGIC DANCER (NAP) looked to be back on song last time at Kempton, when runner-up behind an improver, and Kerry Lee’s seven-year-old can open his seasonal account. Dream Du Grand Val should make further progress now with the champion trainer but First Figaro finished tailed off on his handicap debut and this looks a big ask for the four-year-old Twenty Twenty following a break.
